The interior design of an apartment is one of the most inspiring processes, which must be approached with the utmost responsibility. A result is a place that you will call home. The LAB 181 studio team carefully examines the needs and wishes of their customers, and then carefully translates them into reality. Despite the widespread stereotype that bright apartments cannot be bright, this project proves the opposite. Spacious apartments with panoramic windows, milled decorative panels on the walls, stylistically complementing the already familiar terrazzo material, turn the space into a unique aesthetic canvas of modern design.
An atmosphere of freshness
and minimalism
The design of the kitchen-living room is a studio with porcelain stoneware flooring from the Terrazzo collection, as well as custom-made wallpapers that imitate this unusual material. Accents in the form of a mustard sofa, a sideboard, and green armchairs add expressiveness to the interior and delight the eye. Wall panels, light pastel shades, and decorative patterns create a striking look while maintaining a fresh and minimalist ambiance. The kitchen area, decorated with white tiles with a multi-colored scattering of stones on porcelain stoneware, is visually divided from the living room by two pylons and a color scheme of the ceiling. Functionally, the kitchen consists of a work area and a separate dining room, where every evening with your family will be unforgettable.
Young princess room
The children's room is decorated in delicate white and pink colors for a young princess, with special details in the form of a chandelier that looks like a cloud, and wallpaper with a calm pastel pattern. When designing this room, we took into account the main needs of mothers and children: there is a built-in wardrobe for storing all the necessary things, a comfortable rocking chair for mom, an ergonomic modern bed with a convenient storage box, and a separate area for educational games.
Emphasis on the shape of the bed
The master bedroom is designed in a calm color palette, the main accent of which is the large round bed. This space was decorated with neutral patterns and structured decorative panels. The color palette is supported by elegant furnishings and built-in wardrobes.
A new life of old Terrazzo technique
The bathroom design is also a unique solution. The terracotta decorative panel accent and the terrazzo-patterned plain porcelain stoneware emphasize each other, creating a warm contrast and unique combination. The light atmosphere of the apartments creates a sense of space and freshness, giving the design a homey feel. Having found new life, the old Terrazzo technique can transform any interior into something truly stunning, providing an unlimited resource for translating ideas into the interior.
